President Gül, who for many years was a member of the Turkish parliamentary delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), was the keynote speaker at the January 2011 Session of the Parliamentary Assembly as Turkey holds the rotating Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers. President Gül addressed the Assembly in English and answered questions in Turkish. Simultaneous interpretation of his remarks was rendered by Enterkon interpreters who are accredited to the Council of Europe.
