All Enterkon interpreters are members of the Conference Interpreters Association of Turkey (TKTD) which is the professional association for the conference interpreters working in Turkey. It was founded in 1969 and its founding members as well as current officers include Enterkon interpreters. TKTD serves as an umbrella organization for conference interpreters in Turkey and determines the duties and responsibilities of interpreters and employers, establishes professional and ethical rules, regulates working conditions for interpreters and protects their rights.
